It transmits information faster than thought, and helps us to navigate life safely. The Sinew Channels are part of a complete system of philosophical, spiritual energy practices. They are part of an oral tradition, the Taoist Jade Purity Lineage of Classical Chinese Medicine. This tradition dates back to a time of shamanic healing, before acupuncture points or needles.
Wei Qi in our body is produced by our body, yet it is an aspect of our auras, as well as of universal energy fields. Wei Qi “runs” our body, and is especially important for our musculoskeletal, immune, and psychospiritual capacities. It also animates our heart, intestines, and other smooth muscles of our body.
This energy puts us to sleep at night and wakes us up in the morning. It moves our emotions, Blood, and consciousness as well as our bodies. Wei Qi allows us to perceive things at a distance, to connect in meditation, to travel interdimensionally, and to transmit light. It defends us against invasion and attack. It influences our moods.
We can cultivate Wei Qi to have smoother flow in all these areas, and we can produce more Wei Qi through our choices about diet, lifestyle, and state of mind.
